Knuckles' Chaotix is a 1995 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by SEGA for the Sega 32X. It is a spinoff game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, featuring Knuckles the Echidna as the main character and unique "rubber band" physics. Knuckles' Chaotix became infamous on The D-Pad after they played it as the 6th and final game in Sonic Week (acting as a hasty replacement for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I) - the group were amazed by the game's poor quality and consistently referred to it in later episodes as one of the worst games they'd played on the channel. The game was played a second time by the channel in 2017, as the 23rd game of The Super Sonic Let's Play.

After dealing with some technical issues, the group begin the intended final game of Sonic Week - Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I. Rick enters the first act of Splash Hill Zone, but is confronted with frame rate issues (none of which are visible on the video itself) that make the game nearly unplayable. He completes the act, then gives up on the game, changing to Knuckles' Chaotix instead. Rick plays through some of the opening area, controlling Knuckles and picking up Espio as an ally soon after. He briefly enters Practice Mode, a tutorial, but decides to exit it before learning all of the controls.

Rick explains some of the history behind Knuckles' Chaotix while playing through the remainder of the intro stage and trying to get used to the controls. Upon reaching the end of the level, he enters a giant ring and plays a special stage, which he completes to obtain the first Chaos Ring. Afterwards, he is given the option of changing character and picks Mighty, then gets Heavy from the Combi Comfiner at C/J's suggestion. The random level selector sends Rick to the first stage of Marina Madness, which he completes. Back at the level select, Rick switches out Heavy for Vector and heads to the first level of Speed Slider. As he plays through the stage, the group discuss the future of the Sonic franchise. Rick reaches the end of the level with few problems.
42 | 3 | "Swiss Cheese Tree Land" | 11:48 | Rick | John, C/J | 25 June 2011 | 18 October 2011 |
Rick accidentally gets the useless Bomb from the Combi Confiner, and ends up going to the first stage of Botanic Base. He completes it, and exchanges Bomb for Espio, only to be sent straight back to Botanic Base for the second stage. While in the level, he briefly enters a bonus stage through a ring, but hits an exit almost immediately and gets sent back out, leaving him confused as to what he even played. By the end of the stage, he has enough rings to enter another special stage. Despite some close calls in the second half of the stage, Rick completes it and earns a second Chaos Ring.
43 | 4 | "Tumors on the Ass of Angel Island" | 13:54 | Rick | John, C/J | 25 June 2011 | 19 October 2011 |
Rick switches up his character combination, ending up with Knuckles and Charmy. He enters the second stage of Speed Slider and completes it, entering another special stage at the end. He is forced to replay the second section due to not having enough spheres at the end, but eventually succeeds and gets the third Chaos Ring. At the level select, Rick switches out Charmy for Espio and heads to the second stage of Marina Madness. As the group remember a bad experience at a convention, Rick plays through the level, and encounters another bonus stage along the way, but does not finish the stage with enough rings for a special stage.
