Twisted Metal is a 1995 vehicular combat game developed by SingleTrac and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. It is the first game in the Twisted Metal series. The player controls one of the twelve entrants in the titular competition, equipped with unique weaponized vehicles and aiming to defeat all other competitors. It is one of the twenty PlayStation games included in the PlayStation Classic dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2020, as the twelfth game in their PlayStation Classic series. The episode was released on December 14, 2020.
