Metal Gear Solid is a 1998 stealth game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan and published by Konami for the PlayStation. It is the third main game in the Metal Gear series. The story follows protagonist Solid Snake's efforts to infiltrate a nuclear weapons facility and prevent the special forces unit FOXHOUND from launching a terrorist attack. It is one of the twenty PlayStation games included in the PlayStation Classic dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2020, as the seventeenth game in their PlayStation Classic series. The episode was released on December 26, 2020.
