Monster World IV is a 1994 action-adventure game developed by Westone and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is the sixth game in the Wonder Boy franchise, and the fourth in the Monster World series. A remastered port was released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in 2022 as part of Wonder Boy Collection. Monster World IV is one of the forty-two games included in the Sega Genesis Mini dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2019, as the thirty-ninth game in their Sega Genesis Mini series. The episode was released on December 26, 2019.
The game was revisited on The D-Pad in 2022, as the fourth and final game in The Wondrous Let's Play. In this LP, the Nintendo Switch version of the game was played. The LP began on August 26, 2022.
