Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle is a 1991 platform game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is the fifth game in the Alex Kidd series, and the only one released for a 16-bit console. The story features the titular protagonist as he searches for his long-lost father, King Thor, on the planet Paperock. It is one of the forty-two Genesis games included in the Sega Genesis Mini dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2019, as the twenty-seventh game in their Sega Genesis Mini series. The episode was released on December 10, 2019.
