Golden Axe is a 1989 beat 'em up game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. A port of an arcade game, it is the first game in the Golden Axe series. The Sega Genesis Mini re-release of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2019, as the seventh game in the series of the same name. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on November 12, 2019.
