Sonic Advance is a 2002 platform game developed by Dimps and Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Game Boy Advance. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the first game in the Sonic Advance trilogy. It is also notable for being the first Sonic game to be released on a Nintendo console, after Sega exited the console market in 2001. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2018, as the fiftieth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP began on June 25, 2018.
