Team Sonic Racing is a 2019 kart racing game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sega for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and a spiritual successor to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Unlike those games, Team Sonic Racing is not a crossover of multiple Sega properties, only containing characters from Sonic the Hedgehog. Races are based on cooperation, with the characters grouped into teams inspired by Sonic Heroes. The game's story mode follows the characters as they accept invitations from the mysterious Dodon Pa to take part in a series of races. The game was played on The D-Pad upon its release, as the sixtieth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 33 episodes; 1 covering the Xbox One E3 Demo, recorded when Rick and John visited the convention, and 32 covering a full LP of the game's story mode, played on the Nintendo Switch version. The E3 episode was released on June 14, 2018, and the main LP was released on weekdays from May 24 to July 25, 2019.
