Loki is a 2021 television series created by Michael Waldron and directed by Kate Herron for Disney+. It stars Tom Hiddleston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Sasha Lane. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Loki, and is the third television series in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The story, set in an alternate timeline immediately after the events of Avengers: Endgame follows an alternate Loki who was able to escape from the Avengers in 2012, but is immediately taken prisoner by the Time Variance Authority and tasked with protecting the timeline from a rogue variant of himself. The first season was covered on The D-Pad upon its release, with each of the 6 episodes reviewed in an episode of R-Rated, released from June 9, 2021.
