Nidhogg is a 2014 fighting game developed and published by Messhof for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. Two players battle with swords and fists in a side-scrolling pixellated arena in an attempt to reach the end of the other player's side. The victor is eaten by the titular mythological Norse serpent. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2021, as the first event in The Games, representing the sport of fencing. The episode was released on July 24, 2021.
