Super Mario 64 is a 1996 platform game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It is part of the Mario franchise, and is the first fully 3D game in the series. The player controls Mario as he explores various worlds contained with paintings in Princess Peach's castle, in order to save her from Bowser's latest kidnapping. Levels consist of multiple objectives, each rewarding Mario with a Power Star, which must be collected to unlock more areas in the castle. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2022, as the seventh event in The IInd Games, representing the sport of skeleton. The main event was released on February 15, 2022, and a bonus episode presenting a synchronized version of the four athletes' attempts was released on March 2, 2022.
