- Not to be confused with Marble Garden Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Marble Zone is the second Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog, and is the first in the series to involve lava as a stage hazard. Like with all Zones from Sonic the Hedgehog, it also appears as a track in Sonic Drift without the "Zone" designation.
Use on The D-Pad
Outside of its normal appearances as playable levels within the games themselves, elements of Marble Zone have appeared elsewhere in D-Pad-related media. The outro to the Sonic Week playthrough of Sonic the Hedgehog CD is set to a scrolling Marble Zone background.
