It is a crossover between the Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the fourth game in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series. Released in conjunction with the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, held in Sochi, it features 16 events based on Olympic sports, with 20 playable characters from both franchises. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2024, as the twentieth game in The Ultimate Wii U. The episode was released on December 21, 2024.
