R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 is a 1999 racing game developed and published by Namco for the PlayStation. It is the fourth entry in the Ridge Racer series. Largely based around powersliding, it features four different teams and over 300 vehicle options. It is one of the twenty PlayStation games included in the PlayStation Classic dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2020, as the ninth game in their PlayStation Classic series. The episode was released on December 7, 2020.
