Star Light Zone is the sixth Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog and the fifth in its 8-bit counterparts, and is the first of Dr. Robotnik's many bases to appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Like with all Zones from Sonic the Hedgehog, it also appears as a track in Sonic Drift without the "Zone" designation.
Use on The D-Pad
Outside of its normal appearances as playable levels within the games themselves, elements of Scrap Brain Zone have appeared elsewhere in D-Pad-related media. Both the outro to the Sonic Week playthrough of Knuckles' Chaotix and the intro to the D-Pad Rivals playthrough of Sonic the Hedgehog are set to a scrolling Scrap Brain Zone background.
