Super Smash Bros. is a 1999 fighting game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It is the first game in the Super Smash Bros. series. A large crossover between different Nintendo properties, it features eight initial characters, with four more that can be unlocked through various means. Players can control these characters both in a singleplayer mode against AI fighters, and in competitive multiplayer matches. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the fourteenth game in The Dreamy Let's Play and the eighteenth game in You Do It. The LP consisted of 11 episodes; 9 covering single-player modes and a bonus episode covering the VS mode released on weekdays from November 24 to December 7, 2016, and a further bonus episode covering 100% completion released on September 7, 2022.
