It is part of the Kirby franchise, and a sequel to the 2005 Nintendo DS game Kirby: Canvas Curse. Like that game, Kirby is stuck in ball form and can only move along lines drawn by the player on the touch screen, though the paint-based aesthetic of the first game is replaced with a clay-based one. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2021, as the thirty-seventh game in The Dreamy Let's Play. The LP consisted of 16 episodes, released on weekdays from June 2 to July 15, 2021.
