Dr. Mario is a 1990 action puzzle game developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. An example of the "falling block" sub-genre of puzzle game, it is the first game in the Dr. Mario series, and part of the larger Mario franchise. The NES Classic Edition re-release of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2018, as the twenty-eighth game in the series of the same name. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on December 30, 2018.
