Castlevania is a 1987 action-platform game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the first game in the Castlevania franchise. The player controls vampire hunter Simon Belmont, who must battle his way through Dracula's castle in order to reach and defeat him. It is one of the thirty games included in the NES Classic Edition dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2018, as the twenty-second game in their NES Classic Edition series. The episode was released on December 27, 2018.
