- The 2011 LP of 5 Days a Stranger was the first LP recorded for The D-Pad after Sonic Week, and the first to be released on their YouTube channel.
- The 2011 LP marked the debut of Nick Bebel, Steve DiTullio, Brandon Vogel and Cait Spain on the channel. With the exception of Bebel, none of them would appear on the channel again.
- The final episode of the 2014 LP ends with a trailer previewing the LP of 7 Days a Skeptic, the second game in the series.
