Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a 2017 racing game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is an updated port of the 2014 Wii U game Mario Kart 8, including all previously released DLC content. Further content was released as DLC from 2022 to 2023. The game was played on The D-Pad upon its release. The LP consisted of 4 episodes, released on weekends from May 6 to May 7, 2017.

The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the eighth game in The D-Pad's Super Soft Extra Life Charity Marathon Stream. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on November 27, 2022.
