Mega Man Battle Network 4: Red Sun

Mega Man Battle Network 4 is a pair of 2003 action RPGs for the Game Boy Advance subtitled Red Sun and Blue Moon, developed by Capcom Production Studio 2 and published by Capcom. It is the seventh game in the "alternate timeline" of the Mega Man franchise consisting of entries in the Battle Network and Star Force series, the 184th game played by The D-Pad, and the 42nd entry in The Mega Let's Play. Due the nature of the postgame scenario, the game must be beaten three times at increasing levels of difficulty in order to fully complete it. The channel's first playthrough of Red Sun commenced on January 19, 2017, and concluded on May 7, 2017, after 36 episodes. The second playthrough started on May 9, 2017, and finished on July 4, 2017, after 24 episodes. The third and final playthrough commenced on July 20, 2017, and concluded on September 5, 2017, also after 24 episodes. Following this, a series of 17 episodes covering the postgame were released from September 7, 2017 to October 8, 2017. Across all three playthroughs and the postgame, a total of 101 episodes were released.
On July 24, 2017, the Let's Play of Red Sun surpassed that of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix to become the longest Let's Play on the channel that was not The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or a Pokémon Rivals entry. It became the sixth Let's Play to surpass 100 episodes (after Pokémon FireRed, Insurgence, Breath of the Wild, Moon, and Sun, and is currently the sixth longest LP on the channel overall, and the longest LP in The Mega Let's Play.

This LP was re-released on The D-Pad Unpaused in seven segments. The first, containing episodes 1 through 20, was released on June 14, 2023. The second, containing episodes 21 through 36, was released on July 16, 2023. The third, containing episodes 1 through 13 of Game 2, was released on October 3, 2023. The fourth, containing episodes 14 through 24 of Game 2, was released on October 15, 2023. The fifth, containing episodes 1 through 10 of Game 3, was released on October 17, 2023. The fifth, containing episodes 11 through 24 of Game 3, was released on October 21, 2023.
