Astro's Playroom is a 2020 platform game developed by Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5. A free tech demo that comes pre-installed with the console, it is a sequel to Astro Bot Rescue Mission. The player controls the titular robot in a series of 3D platforming-based levels inspired by various aspects of the PlayStation series, with many hidden collectibles referencing the history of the various consoles. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2020, initially as part of a one-off episode dedicated to unboxing the then-new PlayStation 5, along with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It was later revived as a full LP in 2024, picking up from where the unboxing video left off. The LP began on November 16, 2020.
