Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! is a 2018 role-playing game developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is part of the seventh generation of the Pokémon franchise, and one half of a pair of games with Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. The two games are remakes of the 1999 Game Boy Color game Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition, and are the first main series Pokémon games on the Switch. They differ significantly in gameplay from other entries in the series, making use of a modified Pokémon catching system inspired by Pokémon GO. The game was played by John on The D-Pad in a Nuzlocke challenge upon its release, as one half of the fifth installment of Pokémon Rivals, Pikachu vs. Eevee. The LP consisted of 136 episodes; 105 covering the main game, 18 covering the postgame, 1 D-Pad + Chill episode reacting to one of the main game episodes, 11 faceoffs, and 1 trailer, released on weekdays from November 19, 2018 to July 9, 2021.

Trivia
- The Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! LP marked the first appearance of Cat Arthur and Anthony on the channel, as well as the first appearance of Nick Bebel on the channel in over three years.
- Episode 23 was the first solo-commentary Pokémon video to be recorded in over six years, the last being episode 75 of Pokémon FireRed Version on February 23, 2013. It was also the first video to feature John on solo commentary.
- A D-Pad + Chill episode featuring Rick, Ben, Sarah, and Geoff reacting to episode 23 of the LP was released shortly after the original episode. John had suggested they record their reactions to it due to the unexpected deaths of two of his Pokémon to a Fissure-using Diglett. This is the first and currently only time that a D-Pad + Chill episode has been made for one of The D-Pad's own videos. It is not classed as being part of the episode count of Pokémon Rivals.
- After a run of solo commentary episodes in which he lost several of his Pokémon, John became reluctant to record new episodes of the LP without any co-hosts. Due to this, the LP entered a hiatus when the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for him to either meet up with Dave and Anthony, or return to Massachusetts to record with Rick and the rest of The D-Pad. John eventually moved back permanently in late 2020, and the LP returned with its first episode in over a year on November 30.
- Episode 85 of the LP featured John's catch of a shiny Magmar, the first random shiny Pokémon encountered in Pokémon Rivals (or any other Pokémon game on the channel), after over 1100 episodes. Therefore, this marks the first time that the "shiny rule" has come into effect, in which a player may catch and use a shiny even if it would not normally be an eligible catch.
- John also caught the second shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Rivals history, a shiny Graveler encountered while grinding in Cerulean Cave in postgame episode 17.
