Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle is a 1991 platform game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is the fifth game in the Alex Kidd series, and the only one released for a 16-bit console. It follows the titular protagonist as he searches for his long-lost father, King Thor, on the planet Paperock. It is one of the 42 Genesis games included in the Sega Genesis Mini dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2019, as the twenty-seventh game in their Sega Genesis Mini series. The episode was released on December 10, 2019.
