The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is a 2011 action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is the sixteenth main entry in the The Legend of Zelda franchise. Set chronologically before all previous games, it provides origins for many recurring elements of the series mythology. The plot follows Link, a knight-in-training on the floating island of Skyloft, as he works to stop a plot to revive a Demon King from the past. The game is notable for its mechanics mostly revolving around motion controls. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2012. The incomplete LP was announced with a teaser released on January 4, 2012, and the sole episode was released on January 25.
The game was revisited on The D-Pad in 2014, as the third Saturday game and tenth game overall in The Legendary Let's Play. The LP consisted of 33 episodes, released from March 22 to November 1, 2014.
