Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is a 1988 action role-playing game developed by Nintendo R&D4 and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the second game in the The Legend of Zelda franchise, and a direct sequel to the original The Legend of Zelda. It is unique among the main series Zelda games for its use of side-scrolling areas connected by a traditional RPG world map. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2013, as the second weekday game in The Legendary Let's Play, and the fourth game in the series overall. The LP consisted of 30 episodes; it began on September 30, 2013, and concluded on November 8, 2013.
In 2018, the game was revisited on the channel via the NES Classic Edition re-release of the game, as the twenty-seventh game in the series of the same name. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on December 30, 2018.
