Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi is a 1990 hack and slash game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is an adaptation of the 1989 arcade game Shadow Dancer, and the second game in the Shinobi series. The player controls an anonoymous ninja warrior accompanied by his dog Yamato, as they battle against a ninja cult that has overtaken New York City. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the seventh game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on November 13, 2022.
