Truxton is a 1989 scrolling shooter game developed by Toaplan and published by Midway for the Sega Genesis. It is a port of a 1988 arcade game. The player controls Tatsuo, a fighter pilot from the planet Borogo, as they fight against the invading Gidans through five increasingly difficult stages. It is one of the sixty games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the eighteenth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on November 22, 2022.
