Phantasy Star II is a 1990 role-playing game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is the second game in the Phantasy Star series. Set a thousand years after the events of the first game, the plot follows a new group of characters led by a government agent named Rolf. It is one of the sixty games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the fifty-second game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 18, 2022.
