Golden Axe is a 1992 beat 'em up game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is the second game in the Golden Axe series, and a sequel to Golden Axe. The plot follows the three heroes from the first game as they return to battle against an evil clan led by Dark Guld and reclaim the Golden Axe. It is one of the sixty games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the sixteenth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on November 21, 2022.
