Earthworm Jim 2 is a 1995 run and gun game developed by Shiny Entertainment and published by Playmates Interactive Entertainment for the Sega Genesis. It is the second game in the Earthworm Jim series, and a sequel to Earthworm Jim. It mostly maintains the same gameplay as its predecessor with the exception of several new stages which feature diversions into different formats and genres. It is one of the sixty games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the fifty-sixth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 23, 2022.
