OutRunners is a 1994 racing game developed by Sega AM1 and published by Data East for the Sega Genesis. It is a port of a 1993 arcade game, and the third main game in the Out Run series. It returns to the more laid-back gameplay approach of the original game in the series, restoring the ability for the player to take multiple routes through a stage. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the thirty-third game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 4, 2022.
