Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a 2024 role-playing game developed by Artdink and published by Square Enix for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. It is an updated remake of the 1992 Nintendo Entertainment System game Dragon Quest III, the third game in the Dragon Quest series. Set years before the events of the first two games in the series, it follows the Hero and his group of companions as they set out to defeat the archfiend Baramos. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was played on The D-Pad by Rick in 2024. Episodes were streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube. The LP began on November 25, 2024.
