Metroid is a 1987 action-adventure game developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the first game in the Metroid franchise. The NES Classic Edition re-release of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2018, as the twenty-first game in the series of the same name. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on December 27, 2018.
