Pikmin is a 2001 real-time strategy game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. It is the first game in the Pikmin franchise. The player controls an alien captain named Olimar, who crash-lands on an unknown planet and has thirty days to find the scattered parts of his ship and escape, making use of the titular native species along the way. The game was played on The D-Pad by Rick in 2023. Episodes were streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube. The LP began on January 29, 2023.
