Gitaroo Man is a 2002 rhythm game developed by Koei and iNiS and published by Koei for the PlayStation 2. The player controls U-1, a boy who learns that he is the legendary hero of the Planet Guitaroo, and travels there in order to defeat the empire that has taken over the planet. The gameplay consist of a series of guitar battles against these antagonist, in which the player must hit the correct notes in time with the song. The game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Dave in 2021. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on February 19, 2021.
