The Legend of Zelda is a 1987 action-adventure game developed by Nintendo R&D4 and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the first game in The Legend of Zelda franchise. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2013, as the first game in The Legendary Let's Play. The LP was preceded by a brief trailer for the series as a whole, and consisted of 25 episodes. It began on August 27, 2013, and concluded on September 27, 2013.
In 2018, the game was revisited on the channel via the NES Classic Edition re-release of the game, as the thirteenth game in the series of the same name. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on December 14, 2018.
