Gain Ground is a 1991 action-strategy game developed by Sanritsu and published by Renovation Products for the Sega Genesis. It is a port of a 1988 arcade game. The player controls a trio of warriors as they attempt to rescue hostages from a rogue supercomputer simulating historical battles. Ten additional levels are present compared to the arcade version. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the seventeenth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on November 21, 2022.
