The Nintendo Entertainment System is an 8-bit home console created by Nintendo, released in 1983 in Japan (where it is known as the Famicom) and 1985 in North America. It is part of the third generation of video game consoles, and is Nintendo's first home console. 46 different games from the console's library have been played on The D-Pad.
