The Sega Genesis (known as the Sega Mega Drive outside of North America), is a 16-bit home video game console created by Sega, released in 1988 in Japan and 1989 in North America. It is part of the fourth generation of video game consoles, and is Sega's third home console. 55 different games from the console's library have been played on The D-Pad.
