Sonic Eraser is a 1991 puzzle game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is a spin-off in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, only accessible via the Japan-exclusive Sega Meganet online service. It was unknown to the English-speaking Sonic community until its release on Sega of Japan's website in 2004, at which point an English fan translation was produced. The game itself is a simple falling block puzzle in the vein of Tetris, with a number of different gameplay modes available. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the fourth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 2 episodes, released on weekdays from July 6 to July 7, 2016.
