Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a 1994 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is an updated version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the second main game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, accessible by connecting Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to Sonic & Knuckles using the "lock-on technology" of the latter's cartridge. It is almost exactly the same as the original game, but with Knuckles replacing Sonic and Tails as the playable character, along with some other minor tweaks and bug fixes. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the nineteenth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 7 episodes, released on weekdays from November 30 to December 8, 2016.
