The Ooze is a 1995 action-adventure game developed by Sega Technical Institute and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. The player controls Dr. Daniel Caine, a scientist who is transformed into a sentient puddle of ooze while trying to expose the nefarious actions of his collegues, and attempts to return to his human form while taking revenge. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the forty-second game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 11, 2022.
