Fantasy Zone is a 2022 scrolling shooter game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is a port of a 1986 arcade game, and the first game in the Fantasy Zone series. Set in the titular group of planets, the player controls sentient spaceship Opa-Opa as it battles against invading enemies. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console, and is one of several games released exclusively for the system. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the forty-seventh game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 14, 2022.
