Night Striker is a 1993 shoot 'em up game developed and published by Taito for the Sega CD. It is a port of a 1989 arcade game. Set in a futuristic 2049, the player controls the leader of a task force named Night Striker as they attempt to rescue a kidnapped doctor from a terrorist organization. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the forty-eighth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 16, 2022.
