The Revenge of Shinobi is a 1989 hack and slash game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is part of the Shinobi series. Set three years after the events of the original Shinobi, the plot follows Joe Musashi as he attempts to take revenge on the criminal organization Zeed, which has reformed as Neo Zeed. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the forty-first game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on December 11, 2022.
