Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is a 1988 action role-playing game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the second game in The Legend of Zelda franchise. A direct sequel to the original The Legend of Zelda, it follows Link as he attempts to revive another Princess Zelda, who has been asleep for centuries due to a magic spell, while battling the followers of Ganon, who seek to revive him. The gameplay diverts drastically from that of the first game, featuring a 2D side-scrolling style and the ability for Link to jump. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2013, as the second weekday game and fourth game overall in The Legendary Let's Play. The LP consisted of 30 episode, released on weekdays from September 30 to November 8, 2013.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is one of the thirty games included in the NES Classic Edition dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2018, as the twenty-seventh game in their NES Classic Edition series. The episode was released on December 30, 2018.
