Truxton is a 1989 scrolling shooter game developed by Toaplan and published by Midway for the Sega Genesis. It is a port of a 1988 arcade game. The player controls Tatsuo, a fighter pilot from the planet Borogo, as they fight against the invading Gidans through five increasingly difficult stages. It is one of the fifty-three games included in the Sega Genesis Mini 2 dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2022, as the eighteenth game in their Sega Genesis Mini 2 series. The episode was released on November 22, 2022.
