Donkeython Returns is a series consisting of nine livestreams hosted by The D-Pad in 2025, and a sequel to their 2022 series Donkeython. The original intention was for five livestreams, each one covering one of the five games in the Donkey Kong Country series, with the first stream also including the 1994 Game Boy game Donkey Kong; Donkey Kong ended up taking a full stream on its own, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze took three and two streams to complete, respectively. The series was announced with a trailer on January 20, 2025, with the first livestream held later that day. The remaining streams were held on January 22, January 24, January 27, January 29, February 3, February 5, February 10, and February 13. The footage was uploaded to YouTube from January 21 to February 14, 2025.
